Ferris Wheel on Kontraktova Square.

Here opens an amazing view of the entire Podil -

one of the most beautiful areas of Kyiv.

The wheel rises 42 meters above the city.

You can see the pedestrian bridge from here,

and of course, the Dnieper River.

The cost of a ticket to the Ferris wheel is 150 UAH or 5 EUR.

The  Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War.

It is here that the majestic and monumental statue

of the Mother-Motherland (Batkivshchyna-Maty) is located.

The height of the statue is 102 meters,

the height of the observation deck is 92 meters.

This monumental construction was built in 1981,

you can climb here during the warm season

only if the weather allows.

The next point is the bell tower of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.

Then we go to the Mariinsky Park - the central park of Kyiv,

located near the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine

and opposite the Mariinsky Palace.

From the observation deck of the Mariinsky Park

a wonderful view opens onto the left bank of Kyiv,

the Dnieper and a beautiful green city.

You can see the beautiful Dnieper,

Vladimirskaya Gorka, a monument to Magdeburg Law and,

of course, Trukhanov Island from the bridge.

Another one central park in Kyiv is Vladimirskaya Gorka Park.

It is located near the Mikhailovsky Cathedral.

Pedestrian and Havana bridge,

the embankment of the Dnieper opens.

Park Vladimirskaya Gorka is named after Prince Vladimir.

According to legend, it was he who christened Kievan Rus.

After passing 208 steps, you will find yourself on the

bell tower of St. Sophia Cathedral.
