Getting to the city center

Kyiv is a pretty large city, but there are many options to get to the city center from the main transport hubs.


From the Boryspil airport to Maidan Nezalezhnosti you can get by city transport.

At first №322 Skybus, and then – 114th bus, which stops at the central railway station.

Tickets can be purchased at the ticket offices of the terminal "D", as well as from bus drivers.

Buses depart every 20 minutes, the trip lasts about 1 hour.


If you want to travel with comfort, order a taxi. You will save about 20 minutes, but the price will be around 20 euros. 


From the airport "Kyiv" (Zhulyany) travel on a trolleybus №22 (terminal B) and you can get to the metro station "Dorohozhychi",

and from there go to Khreshchatyk, with one line change.

Also passing by taxi-buses will take you to the nearest metro station.

From here traveling by metro will be the fastest way to get to the city center, and the metro station Demiivska is just around the corner. After 5 stations you will get to the metro station "Maidan Nezalezhnosti", where you can change the line and get off at Khreshchatyk.

From the central train station to the city center you can get in two ways.

Metro station "Vokzalnaya" is located in 20 minutes from Khreshchatyk.

If you don't have luggage and the weather is good, you can take a walk.

The second way: if you have large suitcases and of it is raining or snowing –

take the bus No. 114, it will reach the center in 15 minutes.
