Chinese Lanterns Festival

Giant light installations in the center of Kyiv! About 30 thematic locations will be installed on the territory of Spivoche Pole (Singing Field).
On February 14, on Saint Valentine's Day, Pechersk Landscape Park will become a platform for the first Chinese Lanterns Festival in Eastern Europe. You will be able to see large-scale light installations on Spivoche Pole, each of which symbolizes an ancient folk tale or legend of China. Gardens of pandas and flamingos, a Cinderella carriage, a forest with deer and much more, and the 40-meter dragon will be the central exhibit of the show.
And the festival does not end there! Here you be able to see: the Festival of Fire and Light, animatronics, craftsmen of handicrafts, and thematic musical accompaniment. Also on weekends and holidays, visitors will have the opportunity to see the traditional cultural festive program of the country of the rising sun.
“The history and culture of eastern countries has always been something incredible and exciting for us and, today, we have an excellent opportunity to get to know it better! This is one of the most famous and most visited exhibitions in the world, which was held in more than 40 countries. We have been preparing for this event for more than a year, and we are delighted that we managed to bring this festival to Ukraine! ”, said Denis Pogorelko - the head of the Grand Event company.
The opening of the festival will take place on February 14 at the address: Lavrskaya Street, 33 (15 minutes from the Arsenalna metro station). The exhibition will continue until March 31.
